Can You Find Faith in the Difference?

There is a faith that believes for blessings, and then there is a faith that survives the "Difference"—the space between what we expected and the reality of the price required. Today, the Father is waiting for an answer from you: Will you love Him even when the path is hidden behind His heart?

The Hidden Cup: A Conversation with the GodHead

In the serenity of the spirit, I was permitted to witness a conversation between the GodHead and my spiritual father, David E. Taylor. He was shut away, alone with the Holy One.

I saw that Father David had already said "Yes" to the ancient path. Like Abraham, David, and Paul, he knew he would suffer many things to win souls and snatch them from the gates of hell. He was willing to give everything—but there was one thing hidden. The prison.

The GodHead revealed to me that prison was not in the "original plan" shared with him; it was a secret kept within God’s heart. Why? Because the Father was searching for an arm of strength to reach those whose cries had reached His ears from behind bars.

"I sought for someone to help me with the cries of those in prison," the Father said. "But no one was willing. So, my arm found strength in my best friend and son, David."

The Substitute: Grace in the Chastisement

In a moment of deep vulnerability, I heard my spiritual father say to the Lord, "I didn't know prison was part of my suffering for my love." With a trembling heart, I asked the Lord, "Father, is prison part of my suffering, too?"

His answer was a testament to the weight of mentorship and the depth of Christ-like sacrifice. He said, "No—for I have made all your chastisement fall on him." Our Response: A Faith That Works by Love

We must understand the gravity of this: Our spiritual father took on a burden that was not "originally" his, simply because the Father needed a friend who would say yes to the unwanted path. He suffered so that we could emerge.

Our Prayer Today:

Lord, help us to honor this sacrifice. Help us to take up the mantle of delivering souls—the ones You died for. Give us the grace to step out in a faith that works by love, standing in the gap for those our spiritual father has paved the way for. Let us not deal treacherously with such a great love.
