It's such a real thing, and for me, it really kicked in during my late second/early third trimester. Many women start feeling this surge of energy and desire to prepare their home for the baby's arrival somewhere between 28 and 36 weeks, but it can vary for everyone. It's truly a beautiful phase where you just want to make everything perfect and welcoming. The baby room has become my main focus. I've been spending so much time lovingly arranging furniture, washing tiny clothes, and making sure every little detail is just right. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a safe, functional, and LOVED space for our new family member. I found that having a clear plan for what needs to be done helps immensely. For organizing, I swear by baskets, drawer dividers, and clear containers. Labeling everything has been a game-changer, especially for baby clothes by size. I'm trying to set up systems that will be easy to maintain even when I’m sleep-deprived. It’s all about making life a little easier for my future self! I’m trying to embrace this nesting phase with KiNDNESS towards myself, knowing that not everything has to be perfectly ABCs-organized, but the effort makes me feel ready.
