pregnant mom morning routine 🏁🤍

... Read moreStarting my mornings at 6:30 AM during the final weeks of pregnancy has been both challenging and rewarding. At 38 weeks pregnant, it's essential to listen to your body while managing the needs of a toddler. I like to begin with gentle stretching and some deep breathing exercises to help ease any pregnancy-related discomforts and prepare myself mentally for the busy day ahead. Hydration is key; I make sure to drink a glass of water first thing in the morning to combat dehydration and support my body's increased fluid needs. Having a nutritious breakfast that includes protein and fiber helps maintain energy levels throughout the morning, which is crucial when caring for an active toddler. Living in Florida, I take advantage of the mild morning weather by enjoying a brief walk outside with my little one. This not only provides light exercise but also boosts our mood and helps establish a calm, positive atmosphere for the day. Managing mom life while nearing labor means adjusting routines as needed. I keep my toddler engaged with quiet activities during moments I need to rest. It’s important to stay flexible and prioritize self-care, including taking necessary breaks. Incorporating mindfulness or journaling has also been beneficial. Reflecting on my pregnancy journey and family life keeps me grounded and appreciative of these special moments despite the physical challenges. Overall, a consistent yet adaptable morning routine focusing on wellness, hydration, nutrition, gentle movement, and quality time with my toddler has made the late pregnancy phase more manageable and fulfilling.
