It's so great to connect with you all! Following up on my intro, I wanted to share a little more about my journey, especially as a small YouTuber and someone constantly striving for self-improvement. Being a 'digital creator,' even on a small scale, has been such an unexpected and rewarding path. When I first thought about starting my YouTube channel, I was full of doubts. 'Who would watch me?' 'What do I even talk about?' But honestly, it's become a space where I can share my passions – from my latest hairstyling tips and tricks (yes, being a licensed hairstylist keeps me busy!) to my deep dives into holistic wellness and even my latest book recommendations. It’s not always glamorous; sometimes it’s late nights editing after a full day at the salon, but the joy of connecting with others makes it all worth it. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a digital creator is the importance of authenticity. It’s easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to others online, but I truly believe that sharing your unfiltered self is what resonates most. That's why I wasn't shy about mentioning my '38 days no contact' journey. It’s a personal challenge, and admitting struggles is part of growing. For anyone out there thinking about starting their own 'personal blog' or YouTube channel, my biggest advice would be just to start. Don't wait for perfection. Share what you love, and your tribe will find you. Think about what unique perspective you bring – maybe it’s your specific experiences, your niche hobbies, or even just your everyday life as a cat mom trying to balance it all. Speaking of self-improvement, it’s truly a lifestyle for me. Beyond just breaking habits, it’s about nurturing my mind, body, and spirit. My love for astrology (hello, Libra sun, Gemini moon, Aquarius rising!) often guides my reflections. I'm always exploring new holistic healing practices that fit into my busy life as a cat mom of two and a hairstylist. From finding the right essential oils to incorporating mindful moments into my day, these little changes add up. And let's not forget my 'hobby hoarding'! Whether it's picking up a new craft like knitting, diving into a new fitness challenge, or simply exploring a new genre of books, these activities keep my 'controlled chaos' in check and bring so much joy. They're not just time fillers; they're essential for mental well-being and fuel my creativity. I'm excited to share more of these adventures and lessons with you all on my journey to becoming the best version of myself. What are some of your favorite self-improvement hacks or hidden talents? I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!
