Was extremely proud I finished 🌿
Fushimi Inari-taisha🧡 Was such a rewarding hike. It starts off extremely crowded with people. Trust me! It thins out quickly 😂 I took breaks, but refused to stop. There is vending machines around, and break areas. Was mind over matter! Didn’t even know I finished, till a sweet elderly lady told me. 🥰 #Lemon8Diary #lemon8creator #kyoto #Japan #travel

Each gate is a donation by individuals, businesses, or organizations, adding to the rich cultural heritage of the site. Hiking this trail can be both challenging and rewarding, especially with its steep inclines and varying crowd levels. Many visitors recommend starting early in the day to avoid the heaviest foot traffic. Vending machines and rest areas provide convenient breaks, allowing hikers to recharge. As you journey through the gates, you'll not only enjoy the natural beauty but also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese spiritual culture. Don't forget to look for the local charms, such as the KITSUNE mikuji, which are traditional paper fortunes associated with good luck and fortune.
