For all the things left unsaid.

Three things don’t stay buried forever. The sun it always rises the truth! It always slips out and what you did because karma’s got a sharp memory and an even sharper aim.

... Read moreIt’s incredible how ancient wisdom can resonate so deeply with our modern-day reflections. When I first encountered the profound statement, 'Three things always come out. The sun, the truth, and things you did,' it immediately struck a chord with me, bringing to mind spiritual insights often found in scripture. Specifically, the powerful words of Zephaniah 3:17 NIV have often come to my thoughts when I ponder the idea of ultimate revelation and divine presence. Zephaniah 3:17 NIV declares: 'The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.' This verse, for many, is a beacon of immense comfort, portraying God's unwavering love, His active presence, and His joy over us. It speaks of a deep, personal relationship where divine love offers profound peace and security. Now, how does this beautiful declaration connect with the often stark reality that 'the truth always slips out,' and 'what you did' eventually comes to light, as the original article's quote suggests? For me, the connection lies in understanding the comprehensive nature of divine love and justice. While Zephaniah 3:17 focuses on God's delight and quiet love, the broader biblical narrative consistently affirms that God is also a God of truth and righteousness. This means that the 'three things always coming out' – the sun, the truth, and our deeds – are not random occurrences but are part of a divinely ordered universe. The sun rises reliably, symbolizing consistent revelation. The truth, similarly, cannot be perpetually buried. And our actions, whether good or bad, ultimately bear fruit or come to be known. When I meditate on Zephaniah 3:17, it provides a crucial framework for this understanding. It suggests that even in the face of our past actions, or truths that might be uncomfortable to confront, we are not alone. The Lord our God is *with us*. This perspective adds a profound layer of grace and hope to the concept of 'karma' or natural consequences. It’s not merely a cold, impersonal force, but a process overseen by a loving Creator who is 'mighty to save.' This doesn't negate accountability; rather, it frames it within an opportunity for redemption and growth. My personal experience has shown me that when I embrace transparency and allow truths to emerge, even if challenging, it often leads to a deeper sense of peace and alignment with that divine love. It's in those moments of vulnerability and honesty that I truly feel quieted by His love. The verse encourages me to live a life that aligns with truth, knowing that deceit cannot ultimately stand. It inspires me to reflect on my actions, not out of fear, but out of a desire to honor the God who 'rejoices over me with singing.' This isn't about perfection, but about an ongoing journey of allowing divine love to shape my character and guide my responses to the truths that inevitably surface. It's a reminder that while things 'don't stay buried forever,' we face these revelations not in isolation, but in the comforting presence of a God who deeply cares.

There’s a-lot more we go through that stays unsaid. We need to share more of those realistic moments and know we are all struggling in the same way, it’s sad that society has made these common and normalized in motherhood. It’s just another reason to believe that we are amazing.🩷
