How to smell like candy

Here are some of my fave scents that will have you smelling like candy!! 🍬

1. Ariana Grande’s “Ari” is my absolute favorite scent! Very sweet and candy like & I never leave my house without putting it on. ✨🌸🤍

2. Ariana Grande’s “MOD” vanilla and blush scents are also amazing. I honestly go back and forth with these scents because it depends on my mood/day!

Mod vanilla = notes of musk, plum, vanilla, cacao butter, etc.

Mod blush = notes of bergamot, passion fruit, dewy rose & it’s described as fresh & fruity!

My other scents include Miss Dior that I use occasionally & some scents from PINK! I have a chill palm and coconut coast scent that both remind of the beach!! LOVE!💗

While a great perfume is a fantastic start, I've learned a few tricks to truly immerse myself in that delectable aroma all day long. It's all about creating a scent bubble that lasts from morning till night. One of my absolute favorite ways to prolong that sweet scent is through layering. Simply spraying perfume often isn't enough for the scent to really stick around. I always start with a matching, or complementary, scented body wash in the shower. Afterward, while my skin is still a little damp, I apply a rich, sweet-smelling body lotion or cream. If I don't have a matching lotion, I'll use an unscented one or a vanilla-scented one, as vanilla pairs beautifully with almost any sweet fragrance. This creates a soft, absorbent base for my perfume. Then, I'll spritz my chosen perfume, like one of Ariana Grande's sweet varieties, onto my pulse points – wrists, neck, and behind the ears. For an extra boost, I sometimes mist a light body spray into my hair or onto my clothes (being careful with delicate fabrics, of course!). This multi-step approach really locks in the fragrance, making it last much longer. "Candy" can mean so many different things in the world of fragrance, which is part of the fun! For me, sometimes I crave the deep, warm comfort of a gourmand scent, full of vanilla, caramel, or spun sugar notes. Other times, I'm drawn to the bright, juicy zest of a fruity candy, like berry or peach. And then there are sweet florals, which blend the elegance of flowers with a sugary twist. Exploring these different facets of "sweet" helps me find the perfect scent for my mood. You don't always need to splurge on high-end perfumes to achieve a delicious aroma. I often find incredible, budget-friendly options that smell just as good. Body sprays from brands like Bath & Body Works or Victoria's Secret (their PINK line especially!) have some fantastic sweet scents that are perfect for layering or just a quick refresh. I've discovered many hidden gems that give me that candy-like vibe without breaking the bank. When it comes to application, beyond pulse points, I've picked up a few more tips. Spraying a light cloud and walking through it can give a more even, subtle distribution. And don't forget your hair! Hair mists are designed to be safe for your locks and can leave a beautiful trail of scent as you move. A little spritz of a sweet hair mist can make a huge difference in how long you smell amazing. While I adore my pure gourmand perfumes, sometimes I love to create a unique sweet blend. For example, I might combine a sophisticated sweet floral like a subtle spritz of 'Miss Dior' – which has a lovely sweet rose and peony heart – with a rich vanilla or coconut body cream for a more elegant, yet still sweet, aroma. Or, for those days when I'm dreaming of a tropical candy escape, I often reach for scents like 'PINK Chill Palm' or 'Coconut Milk x Surf Siren'. These instantly transport me to a beachside paradise with their sweet, fruity, and creamy notes, reminiscent of delicious tropical candies. Experimenting with these combinations has opened up a whole new world of sweet scents for me! Finding your signature candy-like scent is a delightful journey of discovery. Don't be afraid to mix and match, experiment with layering, and try out different types of sweet notes. You'll be smelling deliciously irresistible in no time!
