A Mother’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I lift my sons before You today. Thank You for the gift of their lives and for entrusting them to my care. Lord, I know I cannot be with them every moment, but You can. Surround them with Your protection wherever they go and keep them safe from harm, danger, and every plan of the enemy.
Guard their hearts, minds, and eyes. Help them to love what is right and reject what is wrong. Give them wisdom beyond their years and the courage to stand firm in their faith, even when the world encourages them to compromise. Let them be young men of integrity, character, humility, and strength.
Father, place godly mentors, friends, teachers, and influences in their lives. Remove relationships that would lead them away from You and connect them with people who will encourage their purpose and growth.
Teach them to hear Your voice clearly and follow Your direction. Help them understand who they are in Christ and never seek their identity in the opinions of others. Let them know they are loved, chosen, and created for a purpose.
Protect their future, their dreams, and their calling. Keep them from addiction, violence, deception, temptation, and anything that would hinder the plans You have for them. May they become leaders who honor You, husbands who love well, fathers who lead wisely, and men who walk in truth.
Lord, when I cannot see what lies ahead, remind me that You are already there. I trust You with my sons. Cover them with Your grace, surround them with Your angels, and let Your favor rest upon their lives all the days of their lives.
