This was Barnes & Noble’s mystery/thriller book club pick for August.

After reading this, I am deciding Lucy Foley is not for me.

I loved The Paris Apartment, and really liked The Guest List.

The Hunting Party I thought was TRASH!

This was MEEHHH. I feel like it had a good fall vibe with the legend and such, but it was just soo boring I wasnt excited to pick it up, it was like a chore.

Somehow, I still tead it fast probably just to get it done.

I did like the connections with characters, but otherwise, its gonna be a no from dawg.

Lucy Foley is someone I always pick up their book and it’s not because she always has a great one she’s very hit or miss . I didn’t like the hunting party either . And I did finish this one but didn’t love it and didn’t like any of the character’s.

First let me say there is NO HATE to my former employees I have so much love for them and I still visit my old job it just didn’t work out for me 🥹❤️! 1 . The PAY and HOURS !! I was barely working 15hrs a week . They mostly give hours to senior booksellers and other managers not regular bookselle
