Social media might not change the world… but

Social media might not change the world… but following Jesus will.

Lately, it feels like the internet is louder than ever—so much noise, so many opinions, so much division, hate, and even more fake news from all different kinds of people. If you’ve found yourself overwhelmed by it all, you’re not alone.

I haven’t found the truth in a post, a headline, or a trending topic—only in a person: Jesus. Nothing has shaped my heart more than Him. I’m not conforming to this world. I’m done following the crowd. Instead, I choose to follow him and allow him to change my heart to be and act more like him.

With Jesus, I have more peace, more compassion, and a deeper understanding of the truth. I’m slower to anger, and even slower to speak.

Jesus is always the answer.

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

— John 14:6

... Read moreIn today's digital age, social media dominates our lives, often amplifying negativity, misinformation, and division. Many people feel lost in the constant barrage of opinions and trending topics. However, finding solace in faith can provide a path to clarity and purpose. Following Jesus is not merely a religious choice; it offers a profound shift in perspective that encourages individuals to seek the truth beyond the superficiality of online interactions. The teachings of Jesus focus on love, understanding, and being a force for good in the world. As John 14:6 reminds us, Jesus is the embodiment of truth, the way toward a more meaningful existence. When we choose to divert our attention from the clamor of social media to the tranquil teachings of Jesus, we nurture qualities that allow us to respond to life's challenges with grace. With faith, individuals report feeling more connected to their purpose, equipped with the patience to listen and the willingness to speak kindly. Walking with Jesus fosters a community of believers committed to uplifting one another, encouraging personal growth, and spreading messages of hope and compassion. In contrast to the fleeting satisfaction that may come from likes and shares, a relationship with Jesus offers enduring peace and an authentic sense of belonging. By prioritizing faith, we cultivate an inner strength that not only uplifts ourselves but also inspires others to seek their own paths of peace. If you've been overwhelmed by social media, consider exploring the teachings of Jesus more deeply. Embrace the opportunity for transformation, and experience the undeniable difference that faith can make in a noisy world.
