Monday Armor Check 👀

Sometimes I delete things on my social media after I posted it because it’s not glorifying God.

Let’s normalize making sure our social media aligns with God and not participate in wordly things 🤍

Stay strong out there! Use your armor of God.

✝️Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11

✝️And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus…

Colossians 3:17

I’ve personally found that regularly reflecting on what I post helps me ensure that my online presence glorifies God rather than succumbing to worldly distractions. There have been moments when I chose to delete posts that didn’t align with my faith or that might send the wrong message. Putting on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:11 isn’t just about spiritual readiness; it’s also about how we carry ourselves in every sphere, including social media. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Each piece helps us stand firm and reminds us to act with integrity and grace online. For example, I try to pause before posting—asking myself if this message reflects love, kindness, and faith. It’s easy to get caught up in trends or heated discussions, but remembering Colossians 3:17 guides me to represent Jesus in all I share or comment. Social media can be a tool for uplifting and encouraging others when used thoughtfully. Additionally, engaging with communities that share similar values (#TheArmorOfGod, #FaithInAction) provides support and inspiration. These connections remind me I’m not alone in striving to walk faithfully in a digital world. Ultimately, using social media as a platform for good helps me stay strong and faithful, resisting the strategies of negativity and distraction. By aligning our online actions with our faith, we not only honor God but also positively influence those around us.
