Árbol de navidad 🎄 dorado y azul 💙💛
Hi everyone! I just had to share my latest Christmas decorating adventure – a gorgeous blue and gold themed tree that I’m absolutely in love with. If you're wondering how to make your tree truly sparkle this season, or if you're thinking about trying a blue and gold theme yourself, you've come to the right place! Choosing a color scheme is always the first step, and for me, blue and gold just screams elegance and warmth. It’s a classic combination that feels both festive and sophisticated. I started by imagining the overall look: a rich, deep blue paired with shimmering gold accents. This vision helped guide all my shopping and decorating choices. First, let's talk about ornaments. I love mixing different shades of blue, from navy to a vibrant royal blue, and various golds, like antique gold, champagne, and bright glittery gold. Don't be afraid to mix textures too! I used matte blue balls, shiny gold baubles, some with intricate patterns, and others with a frosted finish. Incorporating some clear crystal or glass ornaments with blue or gold accents can also add a beautiful touch and reflect the lights wonderfully. For a personal touch, I always add a few handmade ornaments or ones I’ve collected over the years that fit the color scheme, making my tree truly unique. Lighting is crucial for creating that magical glow. I opted for warm white LED lights, wrapping them generously around the tree branches from the inside out. This makes the tree glow from within, highlighting the blue and gold without overpowering their beauty. If you want an extra pop, a few strands of blue or gold-tinted lights could be nice, but I prefer the classic warm white to let the ornaments shine. Ribbons and garlands are fantastic for tying the whole look together. I found a beautiful wide, wired ribbon in a sheer gold with glitter, which I draped vertically down the tree, letting it cascade elegantly. You could also weave a narrow blue ribbon horizontally. For garlands, think about using strings of gold beads or even a delicate blue tinsel (if you like a touch of retro!). These elements fill in gaps and add depth to your blue and gold Christmas tree. And let's not forget the tree topper! I went with a large, sparkly gold star, but a beautiful blue angel or a dramatic gold bow would also look amazing. The topper should be the crowning glory of your design, so choose something that truly stands out and complements your chosen theme. Finally, for the base of the tree, I used a plush gold tree skirt to continue the luxurious feel. Don't forget to tie in your blue and gold theme with other elements in your room, like throw pillows, candles, or even gift wrapping. It creates a cohesive and inviting atmosphere that truly celebrates the holiday season. It was so much fun putting this together, and I hope my tips help you create your own stunning blue and gold Christmas tree!
