Nail Disappointment 💅
I couldn’t get in with my usual place and went somewhere else and never will I ever. I told her it didn’t have to be exact but for some reason she used the gold foil all over some and then a little glitter on just one. If she just put glitter on all the ones that needed it, it would have been fine.
Today tried a different place to get them fixed and I should have known when she asked why I wanted them changed they were the same 😩 I told her to just fix 2 of them and add glitter to the other 2. she took it all off made me think she was really going to fix them 🤦♀️
I like that it’s all the same gold glitter at least but omg why not just say you can’t do it 🤷♀️
lesson learned! Don’t cheat on your nail tech!
Nail appointments can often be hit or miss, especially when venturing outside your usual salon. Miscommunication and misunderstandings can lead to disappointing results, such as unwanted nail designs or inadequate color matching. When looking for nail inspo, it's crucial to maintain clear communication with your technician and provide reference images that accurately depict your desired outcome. If your nail tech seems unsure about the request or the ability to recreate it, it might be best to stick with your regular technician, who knows your preferences and style. Many nail art enthusiasts recommend expressing any concerns upfront, as well as requesting a realistic assessment of whether a specific design can be accomplished. Regular maintenance of nails along with familiar and open communication can help in minimizing potential disappointments. For those who may not be satisfied with their manicure, opting for a different salon doesn’t always guarantee a better experience. Familiarize yourself with reviews and previous work by researching salons beforehand. Checking their social media pages, if available, can provide insight into their recent styles and customer satisfaction. Lastly, if you find yourself in a situation similar to my recent experience, remember: don’t hesitate to voice your concerns during your appointment. A good salon will prioritize customer satisfaction and work with you to achieve the look you desire. Staying loyal to a trusted technician can save you from those nail disasters!

Idk why some nail techs don’t just say “Hey I understand this is what you want but I don’t have the right stuff to make it happen.” Or “I’m not sure I’m able to do that design.” Like just be honest.
