Meet Floyd Fitzgerald

This is my grand pup and my co-worker at home during the day! He follows me around and opens the pet gate for me on the stairs. Pretty smart boy! Floyd takes his job as an “Assistant to the Assistant” very seriously. Floyd is always caring about others and will offer his food and treats. No doubt about it, he is a super chill guy that always has a friendly gang around him at the dog park. He absolutely loves his sister, Lany. Lany and Floyd were rescued from the pound together by two best friends. They visit each other and celebrate their “Gotcha Day” together every year. Lany is on the 5th slide. I’m sure you will see the resemblance! It is true that Floyd has shorter legs, but it doesn’t stop him from jumping very high! Higher than any of our other pups. His favorite sport is chasing lizards. He even rescued his own pet turtle recently. Note: He did think it was a hard lizard and kept pushing it with his nose to try to make it move. The turtle was the size of a quarter and on his back so the poor little guy was pretty frightened of Floyd. Floyd was gentle and alerted us. This pup has a heart of gold and loves every human and animal he meets. ❤️
