My first thoughts: mysims cozy bundle: worth it?
Sul-Sul!
This is long so buckle up…
My Sims cozy bundle is sweeping the Internet right now and definitely a number one trending game in my opinion.
I waited to purchase this game until I saw more gameplay because I feel like the trailers didn’t really give a lot of that.
And before I continue with this review, I do want to say that I did not play the Wii or the DS version of my Sims, I didn’t join the Sims bandwagon until Sims two and almost exclusively played on PC until now (besides the game boy sims games like busting out ect).
✨REVIEW✨
So far, I’ve played about two hours in this game and I feel like I’m already prepared to give you my honest thoughts and review on this game. I am definitely a cozy gamer. I love games that I can just switch off my brain and cuddle up on the couch And play with not much effort in this game does just that.
✨CREATE A SIM✨
I LOVE creating characters and spend a lot of time in character build mode. This however was super simple and I would have like a better way to select outsiders. You literally just have a ton of outfits but you can only go forward or backward. I had to go through the clothes a few times till I landed on an outfit. My other disappointment was skin tone. There was like 4 so it seemed to lack heavily in that if your wanting your sim to truly be like you. You can really change facial features at all like eyes, nose, ect. Other than that it was simple and to the point and I. Still like my character.
✨GAMEPLAY✨
I think if you like the building aspect of Sims, you’ll like this a lot because this is very much a Sims building game. It doesn’t focus on your Sims needs at all so you don’t have to worry about making sure your sims sleeps, eats, ext which is actually kind of a nice change. In fact, when I first started playing I literally didn’t even have my sim go to bed or do anything else other than just keep going through tasks, building, and looking around.
Once you get a hang of the controls in build mode, this game is an absolute blast. I woke up this morning and it was the first thing that I did after I had breakfast with my husband and now I’m sitting on the couch wasting away my Sunday playing my Sims.
✨IS IT WORTH IT!?✨
i see this question everywhere! I personally think it was well worth $40, especially because it comes with TWO sims games. With that said ,I have NOT played my sims kindgdom yet as I’m just enjoying my sims a little longer but will explore it maybe tonight and can write another review.
I have also seen a $60 pricetag in a few places like Amazon and my local GameStop. Because it comes with 2 games, I would say it’s worth it in that alone. That’s like $30 a game if you broke it down that way.
✨THINGS TO CONSIDER✨
If you have played the Wii version of this game and did not like it, this game is NOT for you. I have seen a lot of people upset that it’s basically the Wii mysims remake. But if you haven’t played, you need to!
Happy simming!!

Hey Simmers! Since I just dove into the MySims Cozy Bundle, I wanted to share a few more thoughts and clear up some common questions I've seen floating around, especially regarding what makes this bundle tick and if it’s truly for everyone. First off, let’s talk about MySims Kingdom, which is the second game included in this cozy package. While I'm still enjoying my time with the first MySims game, I've done a bit of research into Kingdom. From what I gather, it really expands on the world-building and storytelling elements. Instead of just fixing up one town, MySims Kingdom lets you travel to different lands and help various quirky characters with unique problems, often involving building specific structures to restore their kingdoms. It feels like a grander adventure, moving beyond the initial town-centric gameplay. So, if you love the building aspect and want a bit more narrative drive, MySims Kingdom seems like it adds a fantastic layer to the MySims experience, making the 'two games for $40' price point even more appealing. It's not just a rehash; it’s a distinct journey. A big question I’ve seen is, is MySims Cozy Bundle multiplayer? Based on my experience and what I've found, neither MySims nor MySims Kingdom in this bundle supports multiplayer gameplay. These are primarily single-player experiences, designed for you to enjoy at your own pace, building and customizing your world without needing to connect with others. This actually fits perfectly with the 'cozy gaming' vibe – it's your personal escape, a game you can sink hours into on your couch, just like I've been doing! So, if you were hoping to build with friends, you might have to look elsewhere, but for solo relaxation, it’s perfect. Another point that comes up a lot is the comparison to the MySims Wii version. As someone who didn't play the original Wii game, I can only rely on what I've heard and experienced. Many long-time fans have noted that this Nintendo Switch version is very faithful, almost a direct port, of the classic. This is great news if you loved the original and want that nostalgic feel on the go. However, if you disliked the Wii version, perhaps because of its simpler mechanics compared to mainline Sims, then this might not win you over. The core MySims game loop, focusing heavily on resource gathering and building with minimal Sim needs to manage, remains. It’s definitely not The Sims 4 on Switch; it’s its own unique, charm-filled experience. So, manage your expectations based on the original MySims style, not the modern mainline Sims games. And speaking of gameplay, as the OCR noted, there's a fun "Star Level UP!" system. As you complete tasks and build things, you gain experience and Star Levels. This progression feels rewarding, unlocking new blueprints and tools like the "Crowbar" mentioned in the OCR. It gives a nice sense of achievement and constant progress, encouraging you to keep exploring and creating. Don't be afraid to experiment with the build mode – once you get the hang of the controls, it's incredibly satisfying to see your creations come to life. The building is truly the heart of the MySims Cozy Bundle gameplay. Overall, my MySims Cozy Bundle review continues to be positive. For any cozy gaming fan looking for a chill, creative outlet on their Switch, this bundle offers tons of content and charm. It’s a fantastic way to either revisit a beloved classic or discover a delightful new MySims game for the first time.
