Dinner: chicken pot pie less
Tonight for dinner I did chicken pot pie less which is basically all the parts of chicken pot pie except no pie/crust. Instead, I do butter biscuits on the side so we limit the amount of bread/carbs since I have GD. I also added green beans on the side of mine because my husband doesn’t like green beans and because I wanted extra vegetables.
The chicken pot pie is shredded chicken, 2 cans diced potatoes, 2 Cans sliced carrots, and 1 can corn, with 2 cans cream of chicken all mixed together . I added a little pepper, salt, and paprika to that mix and then topped it with a little more of the salt, pepper, and paprika before baking on 375 for 25 minutes. And Yes you can use fresh ingredients but as a heavily pregnant women with health issues I’m at the point where the easier the better for me.
