He's not just my partner; he truly is my best friend, the one I can always count on for anything. His presence just makes everything better, and I feel beyond lucky to have him in my life. Our journey together started when I was 17 and he was 18. It feels like just yesterday we were awkwardly getting to know each other, but here we are, celebrating two amazing years together this December! It's incredible to look back at how much we've grown, both individually and as a couple. We've navigated so many firsts and shared countless memories. Every day with him feels like a new adventure, and I wouldn't trade our story for anything. The 'how long' question often comes up when friends hear our story, and it always brings a smile to my face to say we're two years strong and still fall more in love. We've built such a wonderful life together. Even with our busy schedules – he works diligently as an alignment tech, ensuring things are precise, and I'm a vet assistant on my way to becoming a vet tech, caring for animals – we always make sure to carve out quality time. Our shared passions and simple pleasures are what truly connect us. Our favorite things to do together include escaping the city to 'go up north' for peaceful getaways, cozying up on the couch for a relaxing movie night, or heading out to fish, patiently waiting for a bite. Seriously, spending quality time together, just being present with each other, is what we cherish most. It's in these everyday moments, big or small, that our bond truly shines and feels like a constant celebration. And of course, our little family wouldn't be complete without our adorable puppy, Turbo! He's a lively little guy, and watching him and my boyfriend together just melts my heart. My partner is incredible with Turbo; he's patient, playful, and brings so much joy into our home.
