BLOCKBLAST!!!!!!!!🫶✨🤌

... Read moreHey everyone! 👋 You know that feeling when you stumble upon a game and just can't put it down? That's exactly how I feel about Block Blast! It's one of those super addictive puzzle games that's easy to pick up, but surprisingly challenging to master. I've been playing it non-stop recently, and I wanted to share some of the tips and tricks I've picked up to help you all achieve those epic high scores, especially since I know many of you are searching for 'Block Blast!' tips! First off, if you're new to Block Blast, the goal is simple: drag and drop different shaped blocks onto a 10x10 grid to form complete lines, either horizontally or vertically. Once a line is complete, it clears, making space for more blocks. The game ends when there's no more room on the grid for the current block. Sounds straightforward, right? But oh, the strategies you can develop! My absolute number one tip is to always think a few moves ahead. Don't just place blocks randomly. Look at the upcoming block shapes and try to anticipate where they could go. This helps you avoid getting stuck with awkward blocks that have no place. I often find myself mentally planning for at least the next two blocks, especially when I have a large, L-shaped, or T-shaped block that requires more space. Another game-changer for me has been prioritizing clearing multiple lines at once. While it's satisfying to clear a single line, the real points come from combos. If you can set up your board to clear two, three, or even four lines simultaneously, your score will skyrocket. This often means leaving small gaps or strategically placing smaller blocks to create opportunities for a big clear with a larger piece. It’s like a mini-challenge within the game to see how many lines you can link up! I also swear by keeping the center of the board as open as possible. It's tempting to fill up the edges first, but larger blocks often need central space to be placed effectively. If your center gets too cluttered, you'll find yourself running out of moves much faster. I try to maintain a 3x3 or 4x4 open area in the middle, using the peripheral squares for smaller, more manageable blocks. One trick I learned the hard way is to not be afraid to use your small blocks immediately. Those little 1x1, 1x2, or 2x1 blocks are incredibly versatile. Don't save them expecting a perfect fit. Use them to fill in awkward gaps, complete lines, or set up for bigger clears. They are your clean-up crew! Finally, and this might sound obvious, but practice makes perfect! The more you play, the better you'll become at recognizing patterns, anticipating block placements, and developing your own unique strategies. I love challenging myself to beat my previous high score, and sometimes, taking a quick break when I'm stuck helps me come back with fresh eyes. What are your go-to Block Blast strategies? Share them below! Happy blasting!
