Start small. I recommend getting a Pierre Wooble. I’ve crocheted since I was a little girl and they managed to even teach me some things. I recommend Pierre because he has the best videos. Once he is finished? You will be able to handle almost anything because you will be able to do the stitches. If you are serious about learning, you can go to their website and find free tutorials for the basic stitches, magic ring, and little things you will want to learn. Use a 4mm hook and a size 4 yarn (think red heart and that size acrylic yarn) or a tubular yarn of your choice if you can find it inexpensive. Michaels carries a brand now and so does Hobby Lobby. Also, look on YT. There are tons of awesome fiber artist on there. IG as well. You seem to really like the granny stitch and granny squares. Hunt for them on YT. Some of these projects you like are beginner friendly!
