For instance, being alone with 20 or more patients requires a balance of attentiveness and prioritization without immediate on-site support, pushing your multitasking skills to the limit. The phrase "not so silent night" perfectly describes those nights when unexpected situations arise, testing patience and adaptability. These shifts often bring unpredictable patient needs that keep you alert until morning. Despite these hardships, working as an SNF nurse is deeply rewarding. Building relationships with long-term residents, witnessing their progress, and providing compassionate care creates a strong sense of purpose.
