LET GO ✨
Surrender perfectionism.
God will do a perfect work in you, when you let go of control. God knows exactly what He is doing.
By all means, we have to do our part on this journey. But in the process of surrender God will strengthen and guide you along the way. <3

It's a journey many of us can relate to: the relentless pursuit of perfectionism. I spent so much of my life striving, always feeling like I wasn't quite good enough, always needing to control every detail to ensure a 'perfect' outcome. It was exhausting, and honestly, it stole my joy. But through faith, I'm learning the profound freedom that comes with LETTING GO OF PERFECTIONISM. This isn't about giving up or becoming complacent. For me, letting go the pathway of surrender means consciously choosing to release my grip on what I can't control and trusting that God's plan is far better than anything I could meticulously engineer. It's about acknowledging my limitations and leaning into His limitless strength. I often reflect on how much energy I used to pour into trying to be flawless, only to end up stressed and disappointed. Surrender has opened a space for peace and genuine growth. When I first started exploring this concept, I wondered, 'Is it okay to not be perfect? Doesn't God want my best?' And the answer, I've found, is yes, He wants our best, but our 'best' isn't about achieving an impossible standard. It's about bringing our authentic selves, our efforts, and our imperfections to Him. I've found comfort in scriptures about perfectionism (or rather, about God's grace and sufficiency in our weaknesses). For instance, 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." This verse has been a cornerstone in my journey away from self-reliance and towards divine trust. Another powerful truth I cling to is from Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." This isn't just about big decisions; it's about the daily surrendering of our need to be in charge, to get everything 'right' according to our own flawed standards. It's truly a pathway that strengthens you, because you realize you're not walking it alone. God's guidance becomes clearer when you stop trying to navigate solely by your own limited map. It's a continuous process, a daily choice to hand over control, and each time, I feel a weight lift. It's messy, it's not always easy, but it's always worth it for the peace it brings.
