God is close to the brokenhearted. 💔
Be encouraged. The Lord draws near to those who draw near to Him. Do not be afraid to cry out and confess your sins to God. He cares for you and desires to set you free from what is holding you back. The cycle stops now in Jesus’ name. Surrender all and receive healing for your spirit through Jesus Christ. God is able to do it! Bring all of your pain to the feet of Jesus. He won’t turn you away. Repentance is an important step to see transformation.
God bless you all 🙏🏽❤️🔥
When life hits hard, and your heart feels shattered, it's easy to feel utterly alone. I've been there, truly. That deep ache, that sense of brokenness – it can feel overwhelming. But I've found immense solace in the truth that our God is always close to the brokenhearted, just as the original post beautifully reminds us. It’s not just a nice thought; it’s a promise woven throughout scripture, a lifeline when you feel like you’re drowning. One verse that has consistently brought me comfort, especially during seasons of loss or profound sadness, is Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." This isn't just a poetic phrase; it’s a direct affirmation that in our deepest pain, God is not distant. He draws near. He doesn't wait for us to fix ourselves; He meets us exactly where we are, in our mess and our hurt. For me, meditating on this verse has been like a gentle embrace when I felt I couldn't go on. It reminds me that my brokenness doesn’t push Him away, but rather invites His compassionate presence even closer. Beyond Psalm 34:18, there are so many other passages that have become anchors for my soul. When anxiety threatened to consume me, Isaiah 41:10 became my mantra: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." It’s a powerful reminder that we are not abandoned, and that His strength is perfect in our weakness. Another incredible source of peace is found in Matthew 11:28-30, where Jesus invites, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." This passage speaks directly to surrendering our pain and heavy loads to Him, trusting that He will provide the rest our spirits desperately need. I’ve often pictured myself laying my burdens down at His feet, just as the original article encourages, and feeling a tangible lightness as His peace washes over me. And for those moments when you feel utterly drained from comforting others, or when you need comfort yourself, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 offers a beautiful truth: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." It reminds us that our brokenness can eventually be used to help others, creating a cycle of grace and empathy. It's truly a journey, and sometimes it feels like a battle. But God isn't just near the brokenhearted; He wants to set us free from the spiritual burdens and cycles that hold us back. It's in those 'but God' moments, when we feel completely lost and unable to move forward, that His steadfast love becomes most real. He offers not just comfort, but profound healing for our spirit through Jesus Christ. Don't be afraid to cry out to Him, confess your struggles, and truly surrender it all. He is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Let these verses be a starting point for your own journey to healing and peace.
