Most people don’t realize your iPhone has a hidden report of how the battery’s being used. 👀 Go to Settings → Battery and scroll down. You’ll see which apps were active, and even when. It will also show “recently deleted app” if the app is uninstalled. Doesn’t show you what it is was, but shows you how long and when. 😘 #staywoke

... Read moreMany iPhone users don't realize how detailed their battery usage report can be, offering an excellent way to monitor power consumption by each app on your device. Beyond just showing percentages, the Battery settings section also displays the duration of activity both on-screen and in the background for each app. This helps you identify power-hungry apps that may be running unnoticed. For example, apps like Norton 360 or TikTok can show significant usage time, sometimes in the background, which can impact battery life. The battery page also alerts you to unusual activity post-iOS updates, which might affect performance temporarily. For instance, if your iPhone is used more than usual since an update, the system notifies you so you can adjust usage or settings accordingly. Features like Low Power Mode can be activated to save battery by reducing background app activity such as downloads and mail fetch until you can fully charge your iPhone. An interesting feature is the visibility into "recently deleted apps". Although it doesn’t specify the app’s name, it shows when and for how long that app was active before being uninstalled, giving you additional insight into past usage which could help if you suspect battery drain linked to removed apps. Adjusting settings like Auto-Lock to a shorter duration also helps conserve battery life by turning the screen off sooner when not in use, as leaving Auto-Lock off increases power consumption. Overall, utilizing the built-in battery report empowers you to take control of your iPhone’s power management, allowing better decisions on app usage and settings tweaks to extend daily battery life. Making this a habit can significantly improve your device’s performance and longevity, helping you stay in charge without constant recharging.
