WOW. This was such a fun story. I’m a sucker for a forced proximity trope, and this one really took the cake.
The slow burn, angst, tension, and pining in this dual POV was top tier.

I thought the taboo/age gap/ex’s dad angle was well written and fun to read - it’s not always my first choice but this one was great.
My only complaint about this one was how the veterinary student angle was written. It was very casual, significantly minimized and inaccurately portrayed the level of education and work that goes into becoming a veterinarian. They don’t just do it all online and show up to a random ranch and wing it as their internship/fellowship. I wish the author would have done more research on that front.
All that said, I still enjoyed it and would recommend to those who like age gap and taboo romances.
