Almost there 🤎

Wow, can you believe we're already 28 weeks pregnant? It feels like just yesterday I found out, and now I'm officially in the third trimester, waiting to meet my little man. This pregnancy journey with my baby boy has been so unique, and I'm loving every moment, even the challenging ones! At 28 weeks, I've definitely started feeling some new things. The fatigue, which I thought had left, has made a grand return! It's like my body is constantly reminding me it's working overtime to grow this little human. I've also noticed my back aches a bit more, especially after a long day, and there's definitely more pelvic pressure. My amazing '28 weeks baby boy' is growing so much, so I guess it’s to be expected! Sleep has become a bit of a puzzle – finding a comfortable position is an Olympic sport! My trusty pregnancy pillow is my best friend. And let's not forget the hunger! I feel like I could eat a horse, although my cravings have been pretty specific. Speaking of cravings, I've heard some old wives' tales that carrying a boy means you crave salty and savory foods, and for me, that's been spot on! Give me all the chips and pickles, please! It's fun to see if these anecdotal signs align with my experience, even if they aren't scientifically proven. Another interesting thing I've noticed is my skin. Some say carrying a boy gives you a 'pregnancy glow,' while others say it makes you lose your glow. I feel like my skin has been pretty clear and vibrant, so maybe that's a 'boy' symptom for me? And the baby's movements! Oh my goodness, he's so active. Those kicks and wiggles are getting stronger every day, which is such a comforting and exciting feeling. It’s a constant reminder that my little 'Baby' is almost here. For anyone else at 28 weeks, whether you're having a boy or a girl, I'd suggest focusing on comfort and self-care. Warm baths, gentle stretches, and making sure you’re staying hydrated have been my go-tos. And don't forget to take plenty of naps if you can! We're in the home stretch now, and while there are new aches and sensations, the excitement of meeting our little ones makes it all worth it.
