No shade to my Pilates girls (my bff is one) some things aren’t for everyone and trust I had my Pilates phase. Boxing to me is not only physical exercise but just as much a mental one. It’s strategic and gives me mental stimulation and relief. It’s not easy but it’ll pay off. And who doesn’t want to be able to defend themselves! I Look forward to taking you guys on my journey. 💋

Switching from Pilates to boxing was a game-changer for me, and I want to share why this transition could inspire others looking for more than just a workout. Pilates is fantastic for flexibility and core strength, but boxing adds a comprehensive layer of mental engagement that keeps me hooked. The strategic nature of boxing means I’m always thinking ahead, which translates to better focus throughout my day. Boxing is demanding both physically and mentally; it sharpens reflexes, improves cardiovascular health, and teaches coordination, all while providing a much-needed outlet for daily stress. Unlike the calm and controlled pace of Pilates, boxing challenges your endurance and resilience. The feeling of empowerment from learning self-defense has boosted my confidence immensely. Training with my coach, @Juice, has also been vital. A good trainer can tailor workouts that improve technique and motivation while ensuring safety. If you’re curious about boxing classes or training, I recommend starting slow and focusing on form before intensity. The hashtag POV: you went Boxing Baddie instead of Pilates princess perfectly captures how this shift reflects not just a fitness choice, but a lifestyle change embracing strength, strategy, and mental relief. Whether you're seeking a new way to stay fit or want to build mental toughness, boxing offers a deeply rewarding experience that goes beyond the physical benefits. Embrace the journey, and you might find it pays off in more ways than one.
