God is good officially an Rbt

After failing multiple times, I finally passed my RBT exam. 🥹✨ This journey taught me so much more than just studying. For years, I found myself constantly comparing my life to others, wishing I was like other people instead of fully being myself. That mindset honestly held me back from achieving a lot of my goals because I was so focused on everybody else’s path instead of my own.

But this moment showed me that my journey was never supposed to look like anyone else’s. Even after setbacks, tears, self-doubt, and wanting to give up, I kept going. And now, I’m finally achieving something I worked so hard for. This is proof to myself that failure is not the end, and that growth takes time. I’m proud of myself for not quitting, for believing in myself again, and for finally seeing what I’m capable of. ❤️

... Read morePassing the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam is often more than just an academic accomplishment—it’s a transformative personal journey. From my experience, the road to certification was filled with challenges that went beyond studying facts and figures. One key realization I had was how detrimental comparing myself to others was; it diverted my focus away from my own progress and potential. Accepting that everyone’s path is unique helped me reset my mindset and approach the exam with renewed confidence. Another important lesson was understanding that failure is part of growth. Each unsuccessful attempt taught me something new about my study habits, stress management, and resilience. I found that breaking down the material into manageable segments and creating a disciplined yet flexible study schedule kept me on track. Also, reaching out to study groups and mentors enriched my learning and provided emotional support. The exam itself tests not only knowledge but the application of behavior analysis principles—critical for working effectively in behavioral health settings. Passing this exam confirmed my competence and commitment to supporting individuals, especially in autism therapy, where behavior technicians play a vital role. This certification journey also reinforced the importance of self-belief. Every time self-doubt crept in, I reminded myself of the progress I had made and the reasons behind pursuing this credential. It was a reminder that perseverance, patience, and faith in one’s abilities are essential ingredients for success. For anyone preparing for the RBT exam, my advice is to embrace your unique journey, learn from setbacks, and continually believe in your potential. The certification is not just a title—it’s a testament to your dedication to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others through behavior analysis.
