「21号と23号、結局どっち？」って店頭や通販で迷いがちなので、私が色選びでチェックしているポイントをもう少し具体的にまとめます。結論から言うと、迷ったら23号が失敗しにくいです（肌から浮きにくい）。ただ、欲しい仕上がりが“透明感”なのか“自然さ”なのかで選び方が変わります。 ■ 21号/23号の違いを一言で 21号：明るめナチュラル。トーンアップして「透明感」寄りの仕上がり。 23号：健康的で自然。肌になじんで「落ち着いた印象」になりやすい。 同じカバー力でも、色が違うだけで顔全体の印象がガラッと変わるのがクッションの怖いところです。 ■ 失敗しないための“首”チェック 顔だけで判断すると明るく見えても、首と色がズレると一気に不自然に見えます。私は塗った直後だけじゃなく、5〜10分置いてから「顔〜フェイスライン〜首」を鏡で見ます。もし顔だけ白く浮くなら23号、顔色が沈んで見えるなら21号で明るさを足す、という考え方が分かりやすいです。 ■ なりたい雰囲気で選ぶ（写真写りも変わる） ・透明感を出したい／肌をワントーン明るく見せたい→21号 ・素肌っぽく自然に見せたい／きちんと感が欲しい→23号 「あなたはどっち?!」で迷う時は、“今日のメイクのゴール”を先に決めると選びやすいです。 ■ 季節・日焼けで使い分けると失敗が減る 夏は日焼けやくすみで肌が少し暗く見えやすいので23号、冬は血色が落ちたり明るく見せたい日が増えるので21号、みたいに季節で使い分けるとハズしにくいです。旅行や屋外イベント前後でも色が変わるので、1色だけに固定しないのも手。 ■ 反対色の考え方で“似合わせ”もできる もう1つのコツは、肌悩みを反対色で打ち消す発想。 ・赤みが気になる→グリーン系下地 ・くすみ/黄ぐすみが気になる→ラベンダー系 こういう下地を足すと、同じ21号/23号でも発色が変わって見えるので、「色が微妙に合わない…」時の調整にも便利です。 最後に、通販で買うなら“迷ったら23号”＋「明るく見せたい日は21号」の2段構えが一番安心でした。次の買い物の前に、保存して見返してみてください。
