Currently making a MHA x WoF AU

Hey fellow fans! I'm so excited to share more about my My Hero Academia x Wings of Fire AU project. It's been an absolute blast diving into the creative process of turning our beloved MHA heroes into majestic dragons from Pyrrhia. I've seen a lot of interest in mha dragon au and wof hybrid ideas, so I wanted to give you a deeper look into how I'm approaching these character designs and the worldbuilding. Designing these wof hybrid ideas is probably my favorite part! For example, taking Broccoli, my dragon version of Deku, and making him a Rain-Ice-Night hybrid felt just right. The RainWing aspect captures his bright, emotional side and potential for hidden strength, while the IceWing brings in a cool, strategic element, and the NightWing hints at his analytical mind and the deeper mysteries of One For All. And yes, that Animus-enchanted pendant was a deliberate choice to nod to his incredible power. Then there's Iceburn, representing Todoroki. A Sky-Ice hybrid was a no-brainer for his half-cold, half-hot quirk – the SkyWing for his fiery side, and the IceWing for his chilling abilities. It’s all about finding those perfect tribal connections that reflect their original MHA personalities and powers. And who could forget Bonfire, my Sky-Sand hybrid version of Bakugo? The SkyWing's fierce, explosive nature perfectly mirrors his quirk, while the SandWing’s aggressive, desert-dwelling traits just scream Bakugo’s fiery personality. And for Mina, who's still a work in progress, I'm thinking a vibrant, adaptable hybrid that reflects her acid quirk and bubbly demeanor. Perhaps something with RainWing for her incredible color palette and ability to change, combined with a tribe known for resilience or even venomous abilities to represent her acid. I've been thinking a lot about how MHA quirks would translate into dragon abilities. Deku's One For All could manifest as unparalleled physical strength, or perhaps even a rare form of animus magic that allows him to grant or amplify powers, much like the shapeshifter wof abilities some dragons possess. Todoroki’s half-cold, half-hot is straightforward with dual breath attacks, while Bakugo's explosions could be a super-heated fire breath or even explosive venom from a SandWing barb. Mina's acid could be a potent, corrosive breath or a specialized venom. It's so much fun imagining how these heroes would operate in a world of dragons! This project is more than just character art; it’s about crafting a whole new world. How would the wings of fire rainwing color meanings play into expressing the emotions of MHA characters? Could there be a dragonbite viper wof equivalent that poses a threat to this new generation of dragon heroes? I’m also exploring different wings of fire oc tribes to introduce new elements into this crossover. The idea of eventually turning this into a fanfiction, once I can properly re-watch MHA, is really exciting. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what kind of adventures you’d like to see these MHA dragons embark on in Pyrrhia!
