So I decided I wanted to read more and started with this. I haven’t really found my genre but I like Mafia, I like romance, and I live for true crime, docs, and action so dark romance seemed like a good gamble.

However,

I am 104 pages into this book and it’s feeling kinda DNF. I’ve seen reviews giving 5 stars and I’ve seen reviews giving 1 star. While the plot seems like it could be interesting, the editing and repetitive phrases are driving me crazy 🤪. I really want to finish and I’m going to give it a fair shot but the little typos are annoying.

Just started this book today, and am already about 1/3 of the way done. Hoping it picks up soon I liked the overnight guest but it did also start pretty slow- but once it picked up, I couldnt put it down! Havent seen really good reviews on this- mostly 3 stars What are your thoughts?
