Say Ciao to Comfort Food in the Heart of Chijmes 🇸🇬
Duomo Ristorante at Chijmes delivers the kind of Italian comfort that feels warm, rustic and satisfying - the kind of meal that slows you down and savour every bite.
What we tried!
✨ To start off, their House-made Focaccia were soft, airy, crusty skin with a cool dual-chamber olive oil & balsamic vinegar bottle. Simply delicious. It was a really good start to the meal.
✨ Gnocco Fritto & Coppa $26
Cured thick slices of Pork Collar paired with warm and puffy Fried Pizza Dough - the perfect combo of salty, savoury and crispy. It is a must-order for sharing but it can be quite a heavy dish after a few bites.
✨ Calamari Fritti with Aioli Sauce $26
The calamari was crispy, golden and addictive. Tender pieces of squid with a flavourful dipping aioli sauce - a light appetiser to snack on before the mains. Another great sharing dish!
✨ Linguine al Granchio $32 🔥
The star of the night - Atlantic Crab Linguine with Spicy Pomodoro Sauce. The sauce was super addictive. Every bite just leave you wanting for more, no kidding! Must order!
✨ Tagliolini Gamberi & Limone $36
Freshly Grilled Prawns Tagliolini served with Lemon, Caper & Butter Sauce. This dish was okay, did not wow us or stood out beside Linguine al Granchio.
Whether you’re here for a romantic date, a catch-up with friends or simply to indulge in hearty Italian dinner, Duomo at Chijmes is one of those places that makes it even more special.
📍Duomo, 30 Victoria St, #01-32 CHIJMES, Singapore 187996
Visiting Duomo Ristorante in Chijmes, I found it to be a perfect spot for authentic Italian cuisine amid a vibrant and historic setting. Apart from their standout dishes like Linguine al Granchio and crispy Calamari Fritti, I highly recommend trying their unique Gnocco Fritto & Coppa, which pairs perfectly for sharing – though be mindful it can feel rich after a few bites. The restaurant’s atmosphere adds to the charm, ideal for a romantic dinner or catching up with friends. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as their house-made focaccia accompanied by a delightful olive oil and balsamic vinegar duo, enhancing each bite. For those exploring the menu, the Tagliolini Gamberi & Limone offers a lighter, citrusy option, though it’s the spicy pomodoro crab linguine that truly steals the show. Prices are fair considering the quality and portion sizes. If you are in the Chijmes area and crave hearty Italian flavors served with authentic flair, Duomo is well worth a visit. It’s a great way to experience traditional Italian culinary comfort in Singapore’s lively food scene.
