Immersive Dining Experience at 🇰🇷 Jeju Haenyeo 🇸🇬

JEJU HAENYEO

If you ever dreamt of dining on Jeju Island without hopping on the plane, Jeju Haenyeo immersive dining experience might be the closest thing to it. This isn’t just a meal, it is a journey that transports you straight to Korea’s volcanic island and sharing with you the stories of the people living in Jeju.

Jeju Haenyeo just opened two weeks ago located at The Arts House Singapore. The ambience is very peaceful and calm, the staff are very attentive and the way they talk somehow creates happiness in you.

Every dish tells a story of Jeju’s heritage, ingredients and coastal life that pays homage to the island’s Haenyeo (female divers) culture. Each course unfolds like a chapter in Jeju’s culinary story - delicate, soulful and deeply immersive.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want to experience something different, Jeju Haenyeo offers a dining concept that is equal parts of theatre, culture and culinary artistry.

Reservations recommended. Be there early to choose the best seats!

JEJU HAENYEO Singapore : Korean Heritage Story Dining
2025/12/12 Edited to

... Read moreDuring my visit to Jeju Haenyeo in Singapore, I was truly impressed by how the dining experience balanced authenticity with creativity. The menu offered a variety of dishes inspired by Jeju's coastal life and the traditions of the Haenyeo female divers, including fresh seafood delicacies that reflect the island's rich fishing culture. One standout dish was the Haenyeo Gimbap, which combined local ingredients with Korean flavors, providing a fresh twist on a classic favorite. The immersive storytelling element added to the meal's appeal, as staff shared fascinating insights into Jeju’s volcanic landscapes and the resilient spirit of the Haenyeo women. Reservations are essential, as the restaurant has quickly gained popularity since opening just weeks ago. Arriving early to choose a seat enhances the experience, allowing you to fully absorb the calm and serene ambiance created by the understated decor and friendly, engaging staff. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore Korean heritage food without leaving Singapore, Jeju Haenyeo offers a memorable blend of theatre, culture, and culinary craftsmanship. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply exploring new tastes, it’s a dining experience that deepens appreciation for Jeju Island’s traditions and the courageous women divers who inspire it.

JEJU Therapeutic Itinerary 🏝✅✨🥰
This is a place I have been to twice in a year. The difference is that there wasn't any pink muhly grass when I went in April, unlike in October 😍. I love the oranges there. 🍊 I love the breeze and how chill everything is. I love the pace, the food, and all kinds of orange-colored food.

What To Eat In Jeju
Honestly I’ve never had a bad meal in Jeju! There are many cafes too but I couldn’t visit all that I wanted to go. Here’s what I ate. 😋 Photos 2 & 3: 📍Noraba They sell seafood bowls and their signature is the octopus bowl! But it was sold out when I went so I got the normal seafood bowl. T

Jeju Recommendations no one asked for- Jeju East:
1) Airport Car rental from Orcar at least 30% cheaper than Lotte. 2) Waking up at 430am and taking 1 hour drive to UNESCO “Sunrise Peak” was worth it. Reached at 6am and everyone was already rushing to the top. Read that the climb was about 30min. I may or may not have reached the top in 10min.
