My FNAF Lolbit design
Hey everyone! 👋 I'm absolutely thrilled to finally share my latest Five Nights at Freddy's fan art creation – a fresh take on Lolbit! You know that moment when you're just itching to bring a character to life in your own style? That's exactly how I felt about Lolbit. I wanted to capture their mischievous, glitchy essence while adding my personal flair, and I constantly kept that iconic 'PLEASE STANDBY' screen in mind, thinking about how it adds to the character's mysterious digital presence. Let's talk color palette, because that's where a lot of the magic happens for me. Lolbit's signature orange, white, and purple are super distinctive, and I loved playing with those hues. For this design, I really focused on making the orange pop, almost like a neon glow, to emphasize the digital, almost holographic feel. I used a slightly deeper, more saturated purple to give it some contrast and depth, making the white accents really stand out. When I’m choosing colors for fan art, I always think about the character's personality – for Lolbit, it’s all about being a bit chaotic but also incredibly recognizable. I experimented with different shades, trying to find that perfect balance between spooky and playful. My tip for anyone struggling with color: look at official art, but don't be afraid to push the boundaries a little to make it your own! Creating fan art is such a rewarding process. For this Lolbit piece, I started with a bunch of rough sketches, trying to get the pose and expression just right. I wanted to make sure it was clearly Lolbit, but also unique enough that you could tell it was my interpretation. I focused on small details, like exaggerating some of the wires or giving the eyes a particular sparkle, to add character. It’s not just about drawing the character, but about telling a small story with your art. What makes a Lolbit design truly 'hot' or stand out? I think it’s a combination of nailing the character’s core design while infusing it with creativity. Maybe it's a dynamic pose, a clever inclusion of lore elements like the 'PLEASE STANDBY' message, or just a unique stylistic choice. I always try to think about what would make someone stop scrolling and take a second look. I hope my process gives you some inspiration for your own fan art projects, whether you're diving into FNAF or another fandom. Don't be afraid to experiment with your lolbit art, try new color palettes, and most importantly, have fun with it! It's all about expressing your passion for these amazing characters.
