Before I even think about cooking dinner, I have to deal with the sink first. Tonight it was a mountain of dishes before I could get to making sirloin sliders 🍔✨ Who else can’t function with a messy kitchen? We bought 1/2 a cow from a local farmer a few months ago and it is SO much better than store bought.

... Read moreKeeping your kitchen clean before starting to cook is a game changer and the phrase "You should ALWAYS clean before cooking" really resonates here. A cluttered or messy kitchen not only makes cooking more stressful but can also be a safety hazard and lead to slower meal prep times. Taking a few minutes to reset the kitchen—washing dishes, wiping counters, and organizing utensils—creates a more inviting and efficient cooking environment. One effective method is setting a "kitchen reset" routine where you clean as you go or take 5-10 minutes before dinner prep to tackle the task. This helps avoid the dreaded mountain of dishes and clutter that slows you down. Many home cooks find that a clean workstation sparks better focus and creativity. In the case shared here about making sirloin sliders, buying local beef such as half a cow from a farmer guarantees fresher, better-tasting meat than what you might find at a grocery store. This also supports sustainable food choices and local agriculture. Preparing sliders with quality sirloin can elevate a simple dinner into something special, making the extra effort in cleaning beforehand worthwhile. Balancing homemaking routines, especially for busy parents or those managing family dinners, means finding quick and effective ways to organize. Cleaning the kitchen before cooking is a small habit with a big payoff—it leads to a more enjoyable cooking experience and a pleasant mealtime. If you've struggled to function with a messy kitchen, trying this approach can give you motivation and improve your dinner prep flow. Ultimately, a quick kitchen reset sets the tone for cooking at home and helps maintain a healthy, organized environment. Whether you’re aiming for easier weeknight dinners or just want to enjoy your kitchen more, adopting this mindset is a practical step anyone can take.

Learn even if you are busy
Language learning is objectively a task that requires time and effort – and some just have less time than others throughout their busy schedule. However, if you are on the go almost every day of the week but you still want to commit to learning a new language, that is already impressive in itself!

Things I wish I knew before college!

Y’all! I can’t even make this up!!!
This one hits different… I was doing my Bible study, and like I tell y’all… I pray before I open my Bible and ask God to give me a scripture that’s meant for me. So last night I prayed on it for him to send me some thing for me to post for everybody to see on here. Something that would save souls.
