What do I do!
Last fall we adopted a kitten. At just around 8 months old now she had her own babies. Kittens are a fun experience, and they are SO cute 😻 but my husband lost his job three months ago snd we are barely scraping by, on the grace of God.
So this is the worst possible timing. We're struggling to pay for food for our pets, and now we literally now have 5 more mouths to feed.
I know my kids will get super attached too and will be heart broken over having to give them away. I don't know what to do. We can't have 6 cats! We definitely can't afford to get them all fixed. We put off getting our mama cat fixed because we kept thinking he would have a job by now but all of his contacts have scattered and all of his resumes and interviews have resulted in nothing but silence. So now we have all these cats and definitely can't support them all.
Its such a bitter sweet feeling. I'm happy my kids will get to experience this but I'm heart broken at what I know is coming once the kittens are old enough to wean.
What do I do? Just hope for the best?
