To reflect that everything in life is incorrupt.
"Four people carry," likening to a body composed of the four elements.
"Three people parade" is a fact of life that no one avoids.
"One person sits down" is the soul or spirit.
And "two take away" is good and evil karma that follows man to the end.
The aim of this song
Not to make the listener sad.
But to remind me to look back at the value of breath.
In the days when we still have time to live, we still have the opportunity to love, forgive and do good things for each other.
Because in the end
Whoever we are,
All lives... walk to the same destination.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่เคยเข้าร่วมงานศพและพบกับบรรยากาศแบบเดียวกับที่เพลง "ปลายทางเดียวกัน" ถ่ายทอด พบว่าสัญลักษณ์ "สี่คนหาม สามคนแห่ หนึ่งคนนั่งแคร่ สองคนพาไป" ให้ความหมายที่ลึกซึ้งและช่วยให้เราตระหนักถึงความไม่จีรังของชีวิตจริง ๆ โดยเฉพาะ "สี่คนหาม" ที่เปรียบเสมือนร่างกายที่ประกอบขึ้นจากธาตุต่าง ๆ ซึ่งในธรรมชาติไม่มีสิ่งใดจีรังยั่งยืน นอกจากนี้ "สามคนแห่" ยังสื่อถึงความแน่นอนของความตายที่ทุกคนต้องเผชิญ ซึ่งในงานศพที่เราเห็นจริงทำให้เราเข้าใจความเป็นสัจธรรมนี้ได้ดีขึ้น ส่วน "หนึ่งคนนั่งแคร่" แสดงถึงจิตหรือวิญญาณ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ยังคงเหลือและเป็นศูนย์กลางของการดำรงอยู่ของคนเรา และ "สองคนพาไป" คือกรรมดีและกรรมชั่วที่ติดตามเราตลอดชีวิตและไปสู่ปลายทางสุดท้ายของทุกชีวิต ช่วยให้เราหันมามองและพิจารณาการกระทำของตนเองมากขึ้น เพลงนี้ไม่ได้มุ่งทำให้คนฟังประสบความเศร้าหรือกลัวความตาย แต่อยากให้เราเห็นคุณค่าของลมหายใจในแต่ละวัน ให้เราใช้ชีวิตด้วยความรัก ให้อภัย และสร้างสิ่งดี ๆ กับผู้อื่น เพราะเราไม่สามารถนำอะไรติดตัวไปนอกจากผลของกรรมที่ได้ทำไว้จริง ๆ โดยส่วนตัว การฟังเพลงนี้ทำให้รู้สึกสงบและตระหนักว่าวันเวลาที่เรามีอยู่ล้วนมีคุณค่า และการมีสติกับชีวิตเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่ช่วยให้เราดำเนินชีวิตอย่างมีความหมายและไม่ประมาทในแต่ละวัน
