What’re some photography tips you would give me?

I’m a beginning photographer, I take pictures at my high schools sporting events and I’ve taken pictures of my friends and nature. I have only done one paid photo shoot! I’m hoping to do more in the future, and was wondering what I could do to get clients or in general get better at photography.
