🧺 clean your washer
i use the tide washing machine cleaning powder that comes in individual packets and makes it SO easy to get a clean smelling machine! just pour in one packet, run your cycle, and then your machine will be nice and fresh!! 😌
🚪leave the doors open
whenever you’re done with laundry, leave the door open to avoid a mildew smell! place a magnet between your doors to help keep it propped open! this will help ensure your machine can get fully dry!
👕 don’t let your wet clothes sit for long
we’ve all done it, sometimes i forget i put a load in and i will go to bed and when i wake up, the load in the washer smells AWFUL and needs to be washed all over again. but this will cause your clothes & machines to get smelly, so set alarms/reminders to ensure you don’t leave wet clothes in your dryer for hours.
