It’s IN YOU🫶🏽

Feb 2020- August 2023 #sicklecell stripped #me of myself. Sent me into my first battle with depression, couldn’t work due to the illness consuming my entire body. I was NEVER a body conscious insecure woman until treatments had my weight influx for years! I felt like a burden to everyone around me. Kept telling myself nobody wants to be with “sick” girl. Life got so dark I gave up on trying to find the light…My faith and relationship with God was all I had that never left me alone on this journey, even when I gave up on myself. God was consistent & never left me alone…. That’s what I clung to each day as I prayed & pushed myself to see the silver lining. I wanted my love ones to understand sooooo bad to the point I became frustrated with them. Then God told me it’s your journey for a reason, they will never understand what it takes to live with this illness day by day. I had to take pull myself out and surrender myself to God.

This video shows me how much I’ve fallen back in love with myself IN SPITE OF🙌🏽 #journeyofselfdiscovery #selflove #healingjourney #sicklecellwarrior

Are you Dehydrated? Let’s find out!
I used to think I was just tired or maybe just a little off, but it turns out I was actually dehydrated most of the time. It’s crazy how much not drinking enough water can mess with your body and mind. I didn’t realize how many little signs I was missing that showed I wasn’t hydrated enough

My late 20s seem like a blurrrrr... I had just had a baby in that first Pic and as you can see, I forgot about ME... I let myself go not just in the materialistic way of choice of clothing, but also mentally, and emotionally... it feels good to love yourself... Embrace your body, it creates life. E
