Thrill! The rescue was shot behind the back. Save the Great Beach Flood.
When good intentions face a sharp bullet,
During the catastrophic flood crisis that hit the area, Hat Yai, Songkhla, in addition to the damage from the turbulent tide and shortage of supplies, the mission of rescue workers and volunteers from across the country who flooded to the rescue faced an unexpected thriller: a backfire.
The incident, with rescue teams and volunteers using jet skis and boats to explore the area and take food to distribute, was deeply shocking and heartbreaking in society, when selfless aid came to a halt because of insecurity.
💣 Thrilling Minutes: Over 20 Shots That Thrust Hope
Several incidents were reported, particularly in heavily flooded areas and the public began to experience cumulative stress, from delayed and scarce access to aid.
Puzzle: The rescue jet ski team on the mission was reportedly hit by nearly 20 shots in District 8, causing an urgent termination of the mission due to the safety concerns of the team.
Another team of volunteers, including a group of 'Tone Bang Ka', was revealed to have been hit by two or three shots while taking the boat into the Bang Fab-Klong area, where there were children in the boat, causing many foundations to immediately withdraw from the vulnerable area.
💔 Stress that turns violent.
By talking to the rescue volunteers who suffered, as well as by clarifying those involved, the main reasons for this violence come from the stress and misunderstanding of some victims:
Delay in rescue: The sufferers felt abandoned for days by food and water shortages, seeing the rescue boat drive by without stopping by, causing serious discontent.
Priority incomprehension: Volunteers must first assess the "heaviest case" of providing assistance, but those waiting for assistance understand that rescue discriminates.
Ship Wave Damage: Some cases have it claimed that waves from jet skis damaged property, such as a nearly broken house glass, which is another controversy slate.
🚨 Impact: Who dares to help?
This event raised the big question in society: "In such a crisis, who would dare to come to the rescue again?" The action resulted in:
Demobilization Rescue Teams: Many foundations and volunteer teams have to cancel missions in vulnerable areas because of insecurity, both where the goal is to help their fellow humans.
Taking over by security: Security agencies such as the military (M.4) and special operations (SEALs, Recons) must take over the management and control of vulnerable areas, with clear functional demarcations, in order to secure aid teams and citizens.
🙏 Conclusion: The Undiscouraged Heart
Despite facing unexpected danger, many rescue volunteers insist on continuing their mission, hoping that the misunderstanding will be solved, and ask the public to be patient, including understanding the limitations of working under critical circumstances. The hearts of the citrus heroes remain strong and ready to offer help even in situations where violence threatens their own lives.
