So today my oldest daughter took on her first job as a babysitter. This is her first paid job. She loves children and she’s so patient. However my daughter doesn’t like waking up early. The time that the child would arrive is around 7:30 am. I heard the ring doorbell go off so I went to answer the door. The mother in me wanted to just let her sleep and take on the responsibility of the child until she wakes up. So immediately thought to myself no I’m going to teach her responsibility and that her word is her bond. So with that being said I woke up my daughter and instructed that this is a paid job and that mommy will be her to guide you always but you must do the work since you are being compensated.

Needless to say her first day was amazing and she stayed woke and did a great job. I’m so proud of her. As soon as the child left she went to bed. Lol! I’m glad I decided to step back and let her learn responsibility. #proudofmyself #proudmom #girlmom #firstjob #babysitting #Lemon8PhotoStudio #lemon8creator #dayinmylife #storytime #teenagerlife
