On my way to nail school

Hey everyone, it's Michelle, and I'm so excited to finally be on my way to nail school! You know, it's been a dream of mine for ages, and seeing it finally come to life in Seattle, on such a beautiful 81° day, just feels incredible. The thought of transforming nails into tiny works of art is what keeps me motivated! One of the biggest and most consistent parts of my new routine is my commute. As you might've guessed from the selfie I snapped earlier – rocking my clear glasses and leopard print headscarf, feeling pretty good – I'm fully embracing public transportation here in Seattle. There's something really calming about letting someone else do the driving, especially when the sun is out and the city is buzzing around you. I actually love using the bus to mentally prepare for my classes or wind down afterward. It gives me precious time to listen to industry podcasts, scroll through endless nail art inspirations, or just enjoy the stunning Seattle scenery. Plus, it's a fantastic way to save on gas and parking, which, let's be honest, can add up incredibly quickly in a city like Seattle. For anyone thinking about school in a big city, seriously consider public transport – it’s a total game-changer for easing daily stress and saving money! My first few days at nail school have been a whirlwind of excitement and intense learning. From mastering sanitation protocols to finally understanding intricate nail anatomy, it's so much more in-depth and fascinating than I ever imagined. The instructors are absolutely amazing, sharing tons of practical knowledge, and I'm already making fantastic friends with my classmates. We're all here with the same burning passion for nails, and that shared energy is just infectious. I'm especially looking forward to getting hands-on with different application techniques, experimenting with various products, and starting to build my own portfolio. Every lesson feels like a step closer to my dream career. The feeling of setting off each morning, especially on a day as gorgeous as today, with the sun shining and that perfect 81° warmth, truly energizes me. It's more than just going to school; it's stepping into a new chapter, a new identity.
