Homemade Bread Recipe✨

ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of water

1 tbsp yeast

1/2 tablespoon honey

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 tablespoon salt

3 1/2 cups flour

2-4 tablespoons of COLD butter

(essentially how buttery you want your bread to turn out)

instructions:

1) start out by warming a cup and a half of water to lukewarm temperature.

2) add your yeast, sugar and honey. mix thoroughly and allow to bloom for roughly 10 to 15 minutes.

3) after your yeast has bloomed, pour into the bread machine and begin to add flour and salt.

4) allowed to mix thoroughly then rest for at least 10 to 30 minutes. this is the first rise.

5) after it rises, add in cold butter and mix again.

6) after mixing, allow it to rise for another 10 to 30 minutes.

7) at this point you would set your bread machine to cook your bread!

* if you do not have a bread machine, I suggest cooking this bread at 375°F covered for 15 minutes and then adding back into the oven for the rest of the 15 to 20 minutes for Browning!(this may differ per oven)

In this guide, we'll explore different variations and tips for perfecting your loaf. Try adding herbs, garlic, or cheese to elevate the flavor. You can also experiment with different types of flour, such as whole wheat or rye, for a unique twist. The key to fluffy bread is proper kneading and resting time; this allows gluten to develop, creating that sought-after texture. If you're keen on a crusty exterior and soft interior, consider using steam in your oven during the first few minutes of baking. A baking stone can also help distribute heat evenly, resulting in a beautifully golden crust. Don't forget to measure ingredients accurately; too much water or flour can throw off your bread's texture.
