WTF is wrong with my hair?!
My hair constantly gets split ends even though I haven’t never use heat tools, sleep on a silk pillowcase, comb my hair from bottom to top, use a clarifying shampoo, hair oil, use a microfiber towel, etc. But my hair decide to split into 9 ends. What’s going on?
Split ends can be a common issue for many individuals, even those who are cautious about heat styling and hair care routines. Several factors can contribute to this frustrating hair problem. First, it's important to consider environmental factors such as the weather; humidity, sun exposure, and dry air can all play a role in hair health. Additionally, over-washing your hair, even with safe products like clarifying shampoos, can strip it of essential oils and moisture, leading to brittleness and splits. Another area that often goes overlooked is diet. A lack of essential nutrients, such as vitamins A, C, and E, as well as biotin and omega fatty acids, can affect hair strength and resilience. Furthermore, the way you handle your hair during your routine is crucial; using harsh tools, rough towels, or improper washing and drying techniques can exacerbate the problem. Consider incorporating a deep conditioning treatment once a week and using a wide-toothed comb to gently untangle wet hair. These practices can significantly improve the health of your hair, reducing the likelihood of split ends while promoting overall shine and manageability. Remember, hair masks, protein treatments, and good hydration are key to maintaining a healthy mane!
