Should she agree? Any possible red flag?
My work supervisor just got engaged but now she’s stressed. Her fiancé suggested they put all their monthly income into a joint account to cover wedding stuff: photos, her dress, the venue, everything.
But my coworker makes $2,000 more each month than he does. She’s torn, on one side, combining income sounds easier like a way to build trust together. But she’s worried she’ll end up covering way more than her share and she’s always been big on keeping her financial independence.
It’s not that she doesn’t trust him. Should she go along with the joint account to keep things simple? Or stick to separate finances and split wedding costs another way?

Open a joint account just for the wedding…. Deposit what you feel comfortable with each month
