So AI bots listen to AI music? Who wins this?
Billboard says AI music’s blowing up and climbing charts every week and accelerating fast. But does anyone choose to stream this stuff? My first thought is that are AI bots just listening to AI music now? Who even wins that weird cycle?
Why would I consciously hit play on AI tracks? They lack that human spark, no real emotion, just algorithmic beats. The whole point feels like making money by sneaking onto Spotify playlists, tricking people into streaming something they’d skip if they knew it was AI. It’s not art.
And with labels even signing AI “artists” for millions, it’s pushing real musicians out. Thoughts?
