Steak Night At Home 🥩✨

I kept dinner super simple tonight but it came out so good

new york steak with a good sear, oven roasted corn on the cob, and a baked potato loaded how I like it

here’s exactly how I made it!

preheat oven to 400

wash and dry your potatoes, poke a few holes, rub with oil and salt, then put them straight on the rack or a tray

bake for about 45 to 60 minutes until soft inside

for the corn, leave it in the husk or wrap in foil with a little butter

place in the oven with the potatoes for about 25 to 30 minutes

take your steak out and let it sit at room temp for about 20 minutes

pat it dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and thyme

heat a pan on medium high with a little oil

sear the steak for about 3 to 4 minutes each side depending on thickness

add butter and a little extra thyme and spoon it over the top at the end

let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting

cut open your baked potato and top with butter, cheese, and sour cream if you want

everything comes together so easy and it feels like a full put together meal without doing too much perfect for a chill night when you still want something really good
