Homemade Bang Bang Shrimp 🍤✨

I made bang bang shrimp at home tonight and it came out sooo good. The shrimp were super crispy from the buttermilk soak and frying, then I tossed them in chili sauce right after they came out of the oil so they had that sweet spicy kick. I also made a creamy dipping sauce with sour cream and chili sauce on the side, and it took everything to another level. I added green peppers on the side too and it all went really well together.

Recipe

1 lb shrimp

1 cup buttermilk

Flour

Salt and pepper

Oil for frying

Chili sauce

Sour cream

Directions

Soak shrimp in buttermilk for about 10 minutes. Coat in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Fry at 350 for 2 to 3 minutes until golden and crispy. Toss the fried shrimp in chili sauce while still hot. Mix sour cream and chili sauce for a dipping sauce on the side.

This tasted like restaurant quality and was way easier to make than I thought.
