Day 33 South Korea

Traveling across multiple time zones can be really challenging, especially for teenagers like me who aren’t used to jet lag. On day 33 of my trip to South Korea, I walked into a room full of people from all over the world — Korea, China, Turkey, LA, London — and the energy was truly infectious. Even though I was still recovering from jet lag, the excitement of meeting new friends and connecting the dots of opportunity kept me going. One important tip I learned early on in South Korea is to never leave the house without an umbrella. The weather can be quite unpredictable, with sudden showers that catch you off guard. It’s something travelers quickly realize but sometimes overlook before arriving. Experiencing so many cultures in one place really opens your mind. It’s amazing how people from different countries mix their stories, ideas, and experiences, creating a vibrant atmosphere that energizes you and keeps you motivated. Through this journey, I realized that opportunity is everywhere; you just need to approach it with the right mindset and openness. Even while jet lagged, I found joy in exploring cool spots around the city and looking forward to the next day’s adventures. If you’re planning a trip to South Korea, embrace the adventure, be prepared for the weather, and keep an open heart. You’ll find that the entire world starts to open up to you, offering countless chances to learn and grow.
