2016 style throwbacks 💫👠🌸🍒
The year was 2016 🍒🚕🍵🍕💫 I think that 2016 will always go down as one of the most memorable years of my life for me.
I was 21 years old living in New York City. I graduated from Barnard College, I started my job as the editorial assistant at Nylon magazine and I moved into my first grown-up apartment in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The Chainsmokers were charting. My blog was 4 years old. I was hopeful about the future of our country (until November). My hair was ombré. I hadn’t met Andrew yet.
I’m grateful that I have been documenting so many outfits, moments and snippets of life since 2012 and that I could go back into my blog and camera roll and revisit these so easily.
It’s crazy to think about how much has changed, and yet looking through these photos there are so many moments that I remember like it was just yesterday. 💕
Here’s to all the memories and bringing some 2016 energy into 2026.
